Update 6/23

Juliana was admitted on Wednesday. She had her 2 days of chemo with side effects of fever and abdominal pain. She had some low blood pressure levels, so they had a cardiology check on her with an echocardiogram. Everything looked good. They did blood cultures to ensure the fever wasn't due to infection. It came back negative. They gave her some steroids to help with the side effects, which helped tremendously--no more fevers or pain. Her neutrophil counts were over 9,000 on Saturday and plunged to under 700. She'll have chemo again on Weds/Thurs. Then it's a matter of count drop and recovery. She's been enjoying some fresh air in the healing garden.
